See Morclean's new ThermaSteam at The Cleaning Show: Stand A15

* Morclean-Therm.jpgSteam cleaning is an economical and environmentally-friendly process for the safe and effective cleaning of a number of different surfaces. The new ThermaSteam trailer-mounted industrial steam cleaner from Morclean, is a revolutionary, heavy-duty cleaning system built to effortlessly remove graffiti and chewing gum without the use of harmful solvents or chemicals.

The machine will also remove, paint, oil, grease, wax coatings and bitumen, as well as withstand hard work and regular use.

This machine is easy to use with user-friendly control panel, easy loading and improved manoeuvrability and helps users see a significant reduction in time and labour compared to other traditional methods of cleaning.

Recommended for use on surfaces such as brick, stone, concrete, tiles and terracotta, ThermaSteam is an ideal aid in building restoration, food production, hygiene control, hospitals, factories and transport and vehicle depots and more. It would have a myriad of uses when employed by local authority cleaning & restoration teams.

Featuring incredible performance and results, the self-contained machine is the ultimate in steam cleaning and a truly versatile and high-performance unit. The ThermaSteam cleaner consists of a completely bespoke unit with a modern electric start, self-charging, air cooled diesel engine which belt drives the high-pressure pump.

Users no longer require a big, bulky generator in order to run this machine in remote locations. The 500-litre tank will realistically run for just over 1.5 hours and is completely self-contained with its own diesel tank.

It can be difficult to remove unsightly graffiti and unwanted paint, especially from brick and stone walls, where there is a risk of potentially damaging the surfaces. ThermaSteam uses a soft-washing method with steam. This means that the brick or stone is not affected by the powerful flow of the water and the system reduces the risk of patches or stripes. It also does not erode the brickwork or natural stone after the removal of graffiti or paint, which can occur when using a traditional jet washing machine.

Chewing gum can be an environmental nuisance for local authorities, commercial property owners, transport companies and property management companies, who are responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, streets or commercial transport.

"At Morclean, we have invested significant development time to ensure that the ThermaSteam effectively and economically disintegrates ground-in chewing gum without needing to freeze the gum or use potentially harmful chemicals and solvents," says the company's director Peter Morley.

"The ThermaSteam works by running a normal water supply through a pump to a boiler. The water is then heated and can reach temperatures of up to 150°c. The low volume of super-heated water and steam is then fed through heat resistant hoses to special nozzles, where a genuine 150°c is delivered. The surface being cleaned will be dry within a matter of minutes.

"We're excited to be showcasing our ThermaSteam machine at The Cleaning Show at London's ExCel on the 19th-21st of March. You will find us on stand A15, so be sure to come and check out this innovative piece of equipment and find out how it can help you and your business."
