Curated for difference-making: First IWFM conference launched

The Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management has this week announced a new national summit for the profession that will replace ThinkFM and operate simply as the IWFM Conference.

The new conference is a timely opportunity for workplace and facilities practitioners and others professionally involved in providing productive and meaningful employee experiences to help the profession stride forward into important new territory: realising its potential to impact on organisational performance.

"At a time when our profession faces unprecedented disruption, the IWFM Conference has been curated to provide professionals with the insight, inspiration and skills to seize this opportunity and confirm the workplace and facilities management role as core to the business operation," says Linda Hausmanis, IWFM CEO.

"Three themes: Disruption, Skills Perspective and Be the Change, which will give attendees the tools to change perspective, alter narratives, adjust culture and go and be the leaders of the profession."

The first national IWFM Conference will feature speakers from leading business schools, authors who explore the future of work, experts in digital marketing, and even a hostage negotiator.

Director of Insight Chris Moriarty, says: "We've curated this conference for difference-making. The compilation of experts will power us through a programme that explores the macro environment, the changing nature of work, the skills required in this new world, and the motivational push needed to go and make a difference within organisations.

"It's a cracking line up. I can't wait for April"

The IWFM Conference 2019 is on 24th April at etc. venues St Paul's - 200 Aldersgate, London EC1A 4HD. Keynote speaker is Marcus Child. Discover the full agenda and speaker details at:
