Tennant to host open day in January

* Tennant-open-day.jpgTennant Company, one of the world's leading designers, manufacturers and suppliers of professional cleaning machines and services, is opening the doors to its UK office for what promises to be an exciting open day early next year.

Taking place on the 30th January, the event will enable guests to view a selection of new products currently available, a showcase of the latest innovations being developed, live demonstrations and an exclusive showcase of what products and innovations lie ahead from Tennant.

The open day, which is by invitation only, will also feature a networking session where guests can enjoy a complimentary lunch and have the opportunity to speak with other attendees or with a member of the Tennant team to arrange a free, on-site product demonstration to take place at a site and time of their choice.

Jamie Harris (pictured), national account manager for Tennant in the UK, says of the event: "The open day is a great way for our customers, and potential customers, to see first-hand how we are able to deliver the right solutions for their business and gives us the opportunity to showcase the latest innovations that are available and those currently being developed."

The 16,000sq.ft Northampton head office was officially opened in 2011 and incorporates an impressive 8,000sq.ft warehouse and workshop facility, a 6,000sq.ft demonstration area in which customers can see the machines working within a real environment, and a modern office area housing the management and service teams.

Founded in 1870, Tennant Company, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, provides equipment for maintaining surfaces in industrial, commercial and outdoor environments; detergent-free and other sustainable cleaning technologies; cleaning tools and supplies; and coatings for protecting, repairing and upgrading surfaces.

The company has manufacturing operations throughout the world; and sells products directly in 15 countries and through distributors in more than 100 countries. It had sales of $1.0 billion in 2017 and has approximately 4,300 employees.

Tennant acquired IPC Group in April of 2017. IPC, headquartered in Italy, had sales of $200 million in 2016 and has approximately 1,100 employees.
