Jon Horton joins Micronclean as export manager

* Jon-Horton_Micronclean.jpgWell-known industry figure Jon Horton has taken up the position of export manager at Micronclean. Jon joins the organisation with not only a proven track record in sales to the cleaning & hygiene industry but also with a history of working in export markets, achieving strong relationships and sustained growth.

Jon will be working with Micronclean's existing export division staff as the company looks to expand the scale of its export division by building with its existing distributors and joint ventures partners, developing new geographies and maximising the synergies with its new Cleanroom Laundry, which is currently under construction in Bangalore, India.

Micronclean's mission is to be the first to develop new technological solutions that change the shape of the markets it serves, creating quality and efficiency for its customers. Its product and service portfolio ranges from hand finished linen, through laundered garment rental service for both industrial clients and high-tech/pharmaceutical companies throughout the UK, to cleanroom supplies which are exported to over 30 countries.

Micronclean is one of the largest privately-owned laundry companies in the UK and having been owned by one family since 1929, can trace its heritage back to the Skegness Steam Laundry in 1883. It employs over 400 people in the UK and operates three laundry sites and two manufacturing cleanrooms in Lincolnshire, UK.
