HSE 'Chemicals EU Exit' workshop being held next month
The Health & Safety Executive's Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD) will be holding a one-day stakeholder workshop covering EU Exit and its impact on the Biocidal Products Regulations, Classification Labelling and Packaging, and Prior Informed Consent regulations as part of planning for a contingency scenario (no deal).
The workshop will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool City Centre on Wednesday 1st August, 2018.
Places will be limited to a maximum of two per organisation and registration will be from 10:00 to 10:30. The function will finish at 15:30.
The morning session will include presentations which will give an oversight of the preparations being made for EU Exit in general, and in relation to the chemicals regimes for which the HSE has policy responsibility.
During the afternoon, breakout sessions will provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss the impact of EU Exit on the BPR, CLP and PIC regulations in more detail.
Refreshments on arrival and lunch will be provided.
