A hire company where hygiene is priority
Astley Hire is now in its 52nd year of supplying industrial and commercial equipment to North West manufacturers, factories and traders. This year, the company has received its highest percentage for customer satisfaction according to the latest survey by Insight.
The company says it is always looking for new ways to improve its high standards and service, which is why it has worked tirelessly over the years to become the only North West of England-based industrial hire company to receive HACCP accreditation.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is an accreditation recognised by food manufacturers, cold room installers, pharmaceutical companies and laboratories. It is understandable that all equipment and work undertaken in these companies need to adhere to high standards of hygiene to avoid cross contamination. Astley Hire understands its customers' needs and that is why it is a preferred supplier for the food industry and manufacturers where hygiene is a priority.
As the food industry grew, the directors of Astley Hire made the decision to undergo the long process to be registered by the main body for HACCP.
"Now the NorthWest food industry has a hire company that takes full ownership of its own food safety responsibilities, seamlessly complementing the food supply chain," says the company's senior hire controller, Ian Betts.
