How does your cleaning cupboard rate?
The team on the British Institute of Cleaning Science stand posed alongside an open cleaning cupboard, there to demonstrate how a good cleaning cupboard should look (top shelves) compared with how a poor one might be filled (bottom shelf).
Cleaners have to work hard and to tight schedules and if the cleaning cupboard is always kept in good order it enables them to grab what they need quickly and avoids the possibility that they might cut corners when it comes to colour coding protocols. It also makes it easier for them to see when stocks need to be replenished.
