Double contract win for cleaning contractor with security at its heart

* Double-contract-win-for_J-R.jpgLondon specialist in secure commercial cleaning, Julius Rutherfoord & Co, has won two three-year contracts to care for smart, contemporary office spaces. The first is with 40 Bank Street at Canary Wharf; the second is with the London office of international law firm, Bird & Bird (pictured).

The contract with 40 Bank Street was awarded by Canary Wharf Management. The 32- storey office building forms part of the instantly recognisable London skyline at Canary Wharf.

The elegant and contemporary building is multi-let to a diverse range of discerning companies working within this world-class centre for commerce, retail and leisure.

Cleaning services will be provided to the landlord-managed areas of the buildings, including an expansive ground floor lobby. Services provided seven days a week include daily out-of-hours cleaning, daytime housekeeping, periodic cleaning and lifts and washroom cleaning.

Bird & Bird has over 1,200 lawyers in 28 offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The London office of Bird & Bird moved into its new workspace in New Fetter Lane in the heart of London's legal district in 2016.

Built to provide a contemporary and welcoming business hub for its clients, lawyers, and business services staff, it comprises 147,000sq.ft arranged over 12 floors. With an emphasis on the health and wellness of its people, the facility includes open plan workspaces with sit/stand desks and movable partitions, seminar and event spaces, client meeting rooms, a restaurant which doubles as a meeting and working space, and a dedicated business lounge for clients and international visitors to work in and relax.

Julius Rutherfoord & Co will provide a comprehensive cleaning service to protect the fabric of the building and its occupants' health and wellbeing. This includes daily and periodic cleaning of all common areas, receptions, lift lobbies, office areas, meeting rooms, staff kitchens and the in-house restaurant. The contract also includes daily housekeeping, washroom cleaning and supplies, internal window cleaning and waste and recycling services.

"Our focus on ensuring clients are in safe hands and our reputation for delivering consistently high standards has helped us win these two very prestigious contracts," says Julius Rutherfoord & Co sales and marketing director, Marcus Heap. "We invest in innovation to deliver value for money and our intimate knowledge of London markets and close proximity to our clients enables flexibility of service. Our staff, technology and systems are focused on helping to create workspaces that improve health, wellbeing and security for all stakeholders.

"We look forward to achieving results that make a difference to these modern, world-class facilities."
