Klenzan supports NSPCC - changing childhoods for the better
Warrington-based hygiene specialist Klenzan is supporting the NSPCC by entering a team in the Lake District Adventure Challenge, being held on June 10th in Coniston.
Some 21 enthusiastic Klenzan staff will take part in this challenging event which pits them against the spectacular and demanding landscapes of the Lake District National Park by bike, kayak and on foot. The team will trek to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston, 2,634 feet high, cycle 12km of off-road trails in Grizedale forest and kayak across Coniston Water.
The NSPCC is the UK's leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse, helping children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk and find the best ways for preventing abuse from happening. All money raised from the Lake District event will go towards helping the charity do all it can to provide a safe childhood for every child, so they can grow up healthy and thrive.
"We are thrilled to be involved in this fantastic event to help raise funds and awareness for the amazing work that the NSPCC does," commented Chris Bayliss, Klenzan sales manager and Challenge team leader.
"It will be a challenge for us all but one that will not only be memorable but that will contribute to and enhance the lives of our future generations."
