Purell brand extends portfolio with launch of surface disinfecting and sanitising sprays

Gojo is adding a range of surface disinfecting and sanitising products to its Purell brand; best known for its hand sanitisers. The new products are aimed at the foodservice, healthcare and professional markets.

Out of the 3,000 Environmental Protection Agency registered surface disinfectants and sanitisers, fewer than 100 have the EPA's Category IV lowest toxicity rating, and of those, fewer than 10 have the EPA's Design for the Environment (DfE) Certification. Purell surface disinfecting and sanitising products are claimed to have the fastest overall disinfection times for bacteria and viruses than any other DfE product, reports Gojo.

Before launching the new products, the privately held, family-owned company worked closely with scientific and sustainability thought leaders, like Steve Ashkin, as well as customers and key decision-makers in the food, healthcare and professional markets to understand the market needs and gain feedback to deliver the right solutions.
