RWM: how will changes affect your business?

* rwm.jpgIt is hard to remember a more significant year for the industry than 2016, with Brexit and the appointment of a new Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs in the UK, both set to change the resource management landscape significantly. RWM, which takes place 13th - 15th September, aims to help attendees understand exactly how these changes will affect your business.

The event hosts four free-to-attend and Continual Professional Development-accredited theatres offering thought leadership, best-practice case studies, strong debate and practical solutions to all of the challenges currently facing the industry.

Speaker highlights this year include:

Tristram Stuart, the award-winning author, campaigner and expert on the environmental and social impacts of food production, who will present the keynote address: 'Addressing the Food Waste Challenge' (Thursday 15th September, 13:10 - 13:45)

Glenn Stuart, head of waste management, Bury Council: 'Case Study: Three-Four weekly collection cycles - the results one year on' (Tuesday 13th September, 11:15 - 11:45)

Julie Allen, energy and waste manager, Nandos: 'Case Study: Moving towards zero-food to landfill - churning food into fuel' (Tuesday 13th September, 14:30 - 15:00 )

Chris Murphy, deputy chief executive, Chartered Institute of Wastes Management: 'Where we are now and the future for exporting to Europe' (Tuesday 13th September, 11:45 - 12:15)
