Holchem celebrates record breaking production in 2015
Holchem, the Pilsworth-based cleaning chemicals provider, recently celebrated record-breaking production with 950 tonnes of product being manufactured during a single week in December.
The ongoing success of the company is set to continue throughout 2016 and, in response, it will be increasing its site with additional parking to cope with increased demand from both new and existing customers.
Holchem surpassed its production records three times during 2015 as it fulfilled customer orders from across the UK for clients in the brewing, food service, food processing, dairy, hospitality, engineering and retail sectors.
Reflecting the total amount of hygiene solutions sold and delivered during the particular week, the record followed a similar milestone in October 2015 where 900 tonnes was surpassed for the first time.
Simon Bell, managing director of Holchem, says: "2016 is set to be Holchem's best year yet. The expansion of our site on Pilsworth is testament to the hard work of each member of the team in ensuring that we deliver the best results to all our customers.
"The fact that we beat three production records in 2015 clearly demonstrates the company's strong growth, and this will continue into 2016. I'm looking forward to seeing our dedicated staff deliver even more record breaking moments."
The state of the art facilities at Pilsworth host 188 employees. The single site operation designed and built for Holchem three years ago has enabled a rise in storage capacity escalate from 1900 pallet positions to just short of 5,000, (with the obvious single site benefits in efficiency).
