Major brands support new Manchester event

* EventCity.jpgAs revealed in Cleanzine some months ago, April 2016 will see the launch of the new Manchester Cleaning Show - a regional spin-off trade event within the Cleaning Show portfolio. What we didn't know at that stage was whether it would win the support of the UK cleaning industry, but we're happy to report that things are looking positive...

The Manchester Cleaning Show has now been officially announced with inaugural dates of 6th - 7th April 2016 at Event City in Manchester.

Many of the major brands from the cleaning industry have already confirmed their support by booking stands including machine manufacturers Karcher, Nilfisk and Sebo; chemical manufacturers Greyland and Buckeye; window cleaning equipment providers Unger; software providers Innovise, Cleanlink Software and Templa, as well as other major brands including Cromwell Polythene, the WoolSafe Organisation, Morclean, Signature Aromas, Spinaclean and Catsus. The Federation of Window Cleaners will also be supporting the event.

Organised by the British Cleaning Council and Quartz Business Media, the event promises to offer a wide range of products and services for anyone with responsibility for cleaning, hygiene or facilities management.

"We are delighted with the response we have had by launching this new event," says Steve Diprose, managing director of Quartz Business Media. "The Cleaning Show in London this year was extremely successful, with a number of our clients giving fantastic feedback in terms of levels of sales and orders taken at the event. By launching the Manchester Cleaning Show we wanted to build on the momentum we have created and also offer a networking and learning experience to those in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland some of whom may not have had time to travel to London this year."

Innovise have confirmed that it will not only be exhibiting in 2016, but will also be sponsoring the event by offering a free lunch to visitors. Further details to follow.

The new Manchester Cleaning Show is positioned deliberately to sit in the middle of the Cleaning Show biennial cycle, so that manufacturers, distributors and service suppliers to the industry can easily participate in both events.
