Julius Rutherfoord one of top 50 fastest growing UK cleaning companies

Two business benchmark reports reveal that specialist contract cleaner, Julius Rutherfoord, has boosted its sales growth, as it continues to deliver strong financial performance and expands its office space for cleaning operations in London.

Firstly, Julius Rutherfoord has been ranked 18th in the top 50 fastest growing cleaning companies by sales growth in a 2013 Plimsoll report. Plimsoll's 'UK Cleaning Services - Individual Company Analysis Report' 2013, provides a summary of the top 1,000 UK cleaning companies.

Julius Rutherfoord's performance, as published in the Plimsoll Report, is as follows:

* Ranked 18th in the Top 50 'Fastest Growing Companies' by sales growth (following 21.8% growth in 2012)
* Ranked 21st in the Top 40 'best trading partners'
* Listed in the Top 50 companies by 'market share'
* Listed in the Top 50 companies for 'sales return on assets'
* Listed in the Top 50 companies for 'adding value'

Secondly, Julius Rutherfoord has received an excellent credit rating of '2A 1' from Dun & Bradstreet in January 2014. '2A' demonstrates financial strength, based on Tangible Net Worth from the latest financial accounts, whilst '1' is the score indicating minimum level of risk that could affect bad debt and cashflow.

Dun & Bradstreet is an independent credit monitoring company which scores and rates businesses globally to assess their financial stability and creditworthiness.

Tyrone Winn, Financial Controller at Julius Rutherfoord, says: "We are delighted to have been independently rated for our strong financial performance by two leading sources of business information. We have achieved a consistent, organic sales growth of 15.73% per annum since 2001, which is far above the industry norm of 4.1%."

Julius Rutherfoord provides premium cleaning services for offices and the education and community sectors in London. Recent high profile contract wins include: The Supreme Court, Macmillan Publishing, Mind Candy and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The contractor owns its 13,000 sq. ft. purposely modified, head office building based in Battersea and has recently expanded its operations by purchasing the freehold of the two adjacent buildings, totalling 11,500 sq. ft. This provides plenty of potential growth space as the business continues to expand. The contractor is also in the process of increasing its operations, business development and marketing teams with the recruitment of several new staff and an apprentice.
