New industry partnership prolongs lifetime of luxury floorings

UK flooring manufacturer Amtico has appointed Beaver Floorcare as approved aftercare specialist for both its commercial and residential installations. The aim of the new collaboration is to maximise the longevity of Amtico's product range.

The announcement comes following an 18 month close working relationship between the two companies. Having cleaned and maintained Amtico floors for over 20 years, Beaver sought to develop knowledge-transfer links with the manufacturer's technical services team.

It soon became clear that, by combining best practice expertise in both flooring production and aftercare, a number of benefits could be realised by the two parties and most importantly the customer.

The objective of the new collaboration is to encourage clients to adopt a programme of aftercare for their Amtico flooring, so that it retains the desired appearance throughout its life. Beaver is now therefore on hand to provide businesses, facilities management companies and cleaning firms with the specialist cleaning expertise and advice required to optimise the ongoing condition of their Amtico floors.

Amtico has also recommended a range of aftercare accessories for its flooring collections. These tailored products are now available from Beaver's supply division website, Floorcare Supplies.

Beaver director Tom Campton explains: "Whether we're dealing with an Amtico floor in a 2000m? commercial site or a family home, the product has undoubtedly been chosen because of its quality and appearance.
