AfidampFAB launches 'Pulire 2013 Innovation Awards'
AfidampFAB (Italian Association of manufacturers of machinery, products & tools for industrial cleaning & environmental hygiene), with organisational support from Afidamp Services, has announced the seventh edition of the Pulire Innovation Awards.
The awards will take place during Pulire 2013 - the exhibition and conference dedicated to the professional cleaning and environmental hygiene market, which will be held in Verona from 21st - 23rd May. Entry into the awards programme is restricted to those exhibiting at the show and the programme is designed to encourage and reward the research and innovation carried out by companies operating in this specific market.
This year the judges are looking for projects that will have proven to increase competitiveness, improve profitability, improve performance and safety, save time and reduce costs while complying with the requirements of environmental sustainability.
Three categories will be awarded: machinery, equipment and chemicals. Projects will be submitted to a panel of experts who will decide nine finalists, three in each category. These will then be submitted to the Italian and foreign specialist press, who will award the 'Technical Press Award Pulire 2013' to the winner of each section. The visiting public will decide, by voting, the winner of the 'Innovation Award Pulire 2013' trophy.
The selected projects must have been introduced to the market only after 1st January 2013 and not been presented to or having participated in, any other related trade exhibitions in the form of product, representation or models. They will have high visibility during Pulire 2013 thanks to their siting in an area specifically dedicated to the awards and also on each entrant's stand at the show. The resulting impact , nationally and internationally, is very high. The number of visitors to Pulire, which this year celebrates its 20th year, has risen steadily - surpassing the 10,000 unique participants in 2011.
The deadline for submitting the documentation required from entrants into the awards programme, is midday, April 16th, 2013.
