Eco friendly sanitising for super yachts

Shore Solutions, one of Europe's leading suppliers to the Super Yacht industry, has teamed up with EOwater, the distributor of Hoshizaki ROX electrolysed water systems, to provide its clients with a groundbreaking solution for chemical-free cleaning and sanitising.

ROX combines ordinary tap water and a mild salt solution with an electric current to produce two streams of water that can be drawn on demand - alkaline cleaning water and acidic sanitising water.

Even though it is more aggressive than many chemical cleaners and sanitisers, electrolysed water presents no danger or health risk, even with prolonged skin contact. It can be used to wash hands; clean and disinfect fruit, vegetables, meat and fish; clean and sanitise worktops, tables and toilets and wash floors. After use, it rapidly reverts to neutral, so can be poured away without causing any damage whatsoever to the environment.
