Soap sales soar after dispenser link at Knight Air
Knight Air Products is a busy distributor in the North West of England, whose customers consist of a wide variety of commercial, industrial, hospitality and healthcare establishments, and local authorities.
Starting out as a supplier of fragrance machines by the current MD Paul Knight's father, the company soon branched out into general cleaning supplies and has now further expanded into nursing and residential homes, leisure centres, schools and colleges, and an increasingly important sector, the food industry.
One of their biggest customers in this sector supplies the major national supermarkets, so of course hygiene cannot be left to chance.
That's one of the reasons Knight Air Products is a Greyland brand cleaning chemicals distributor.
"We like to use as many suppliers located in the North West as possible. With Greyland being only an hour away we are able to collect if we need to, but they are always happy to help us out in a tight situation, such as when we have a new customer in pressing need. Knight Air Products has found that since taking on the UK distribution for Dudley Industries, a leading manufacturer of stainless steel washroom dispensers, sales of Greyland soaps have increased significantly. Partly due to how they are presented in conjunction with the dispensers on their web site, there are other reasons.
"We offer a next day delivery service via courier nationwide - Internet customers expect it - and because of Greyland's keen pricing, we've also been able to take on washroom services customers as they do not have to take pallet quantities to get the price level they seek.
"We have found that the Greyland brand is trusted by our customers.
"The common sense labelling also says exactly what is in the bottle or canister - and it works every time.
"We've even had Greyland test some competing products for us, where we've lost business due to false claims that cheaper products were just as good. Chemical analysis showed that the products were only cheaper because they had a lower percentage of active ingredients - or none at all!
"Needless to say, that report won us back the business!"
