Free webinar on how to improve PPE compliance being staged next month

* 3M-PPE-Compliance.jpgDiversified technology company 3M is to host a free interactive webinar on Personal Protective Equipment compliance as part of its 'safety spotlight' series.

Taking place on Thursday 19th April at midday (GMT), it is the latest in a series of free webinars that 3M is hosting throughout 2012 and will offer practical advice around the issues of wearing PPE in the workplace.

PPE specialists Alan McArthur and Sarah Broadbent of the 3M Safety Solutions Division will lead the webinar in discussion around 'What is non-compliance and how can it be identified?' and will offer guidance on selecting PPE that both meets legal requirements and is comfortable and easy to use, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance.

Sarah explains: "PPE compliance is still a major issue within the workplace and it is crucial for employers to understand some of the reasons behind non-compliance. This webinar will explore the issue so they can learn to look out for potential warning signs and ensure that workers are provided with - and will accept - the most suitable and adequate protection."

To register for the webinar, go to www.3M.co.uk All you need to join is a telephone and internet access. Customers will also gain free access to a detailed technical bulletin on PPE compliance to keep as a permanent resource - to download, visit (from mid-April):
