Asia's largest nonwovens exhibition SINCE/ANEX 2015 takes place next week
As Asia's largest exhibition of nonwoven materials, technology and equipment, SINCE/ANEX has become a much anticipated event in the global nonwovens sector.
The 16th Shanghai International Nonwovens Conference & Exhibition (SINCE), combined with Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference (ANEX) will be held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre, from 13th - 15th May, 2015.
The organisers are expecting what they say is the "great gathering of industrial elites and top companies from the global nonwovens field, offering the airing of different thoughts as well as the best opportunity for communication on technologies". They say that the combining of the two events will enable the size of scale, exhibitors and visitors to hit a record high.
The nonwovens industry in China began in 1958, and the Shanghai International Nonwovens Conference & Exhibition (SINCE), in its 30 years' history, has witnessed the changes and fast development of China's nonwoven industry. It has also provided the best platform for domestic and overseas companies to share technology, expand the market's potential and introduce advanced technology and equipment.
This exhibition, with its show floor that covers more than 25,000sq.m, has attracted many top and companies from home and abroad. The exhibits cover nonwoven roll goods and converted products, nonwoven production machinery, auxiliary equipment and accessories, and nonwoven raw materials. More than 400 companies, both domestic and from overseas, will exhibit.
The three-day exhibition is expected to attract over 15,000 professional buyers from 53 countries, covering a wide area of medical, hygiene, wiping, construction & civil engineering, filtration & separation, electronic, energy, automobile, interior fabrics, construction, garment accessories, synthetic leather and so on.
"Come and feel the innovative applications brought by technical innovation!" say the organisers.
It's not all about the exhibition of course; the technical seminars that have been organised are expected to be another highlight, with many leading companies in nonwovens industry, including PGI, H.B Fuller, Lenzing AG, ExxonMobil, Dow Chemical, Henkel, Cotton, Edelmann Technology, Emtec Electronics, Nordson and Xerium Technologies, delivering technical speeches and sharing new materials, techniques, ideas and applications.
Another highlight will be the Global Nonwovens Summit (GNS), launched by Asia Nonwoven Fabrics Association (ANFA) together with the other nonwovens associations EDANA and INDA. At the summit, Wang Yanxi, chairman of ANFA; Hideo Tsuchiya, secretary general of ANFA; Pierre Wiertz, president of EDANA; David E. Rousse, president of INDA; Rolando Dominguez, former PGI general manager of Latin America, and Dr. Osamu Yaida, consultant of ANNA, will give speeches and talk about the latest market trends, advanced technology and innovative applications of nonwoven materials in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. They will also analyse the current status and development of international standards and provide direction for Chinese nonwoven material enterprises that will enable them to adapt to the changes.
