Vacuum dust mats

Netherlands-based MB Dustcontrol BV is launching the Airmax Cleanmat – a novel ‘door’ mat that automatically sucks fine dust and dirt from the shoes and boots of people walking over it. It is activated via a sensor and timer.

“It has been proven that fine dust is very hazardous for public health and that 80% of all fine dust present indoors comes from the shoes of people are walking in from the outside,” says the manufacturer. “This mat offers a simple way of dealing with the problem.
