Banking on better cleaning out of Principle!

Principle Cleaning Services has been awarded the external and internal cleaning contract for Standard Chartered Bank's headquarters at 1 Basinghall Avenue, London. As part of the contract, Principle Cleaning staff will carry out daily office cleaning, general periodic tasks, window cleaning, washroom services, landscaping, waste management and pest control.

A modern, 39.69m high, architectural designed building with 10 floors - two of which are below ground, the building incorporates a curtain wall of glass and stone as a facade. Prior to construction of the building, archaeological excavations carried out on the site unearthed the remains of outstanding examples of Roman glass.

Standard Chartered is one of the UK's largest banks (currently a top 20 FTSE company) and has been in existence since 1969.

Next year, Principle Cleaning Services reaches a remarkable milestone by celebrating twenty-five years in the cleaning industry - unsurprising perhaps, when one considers the standard of service provided; the company recently received two awards at the Golden Service Awards.

The London based contract cleaning company now has over 2,000 staff and an impressive portfolio of prestigious customers across London. More recently, a pioneering Hybrid Cleaning system was launched. This uses a full time workforce to operate flexibly with any business to develop ways of improving quality and service in a sustainable way. A new business - Principle Window Cleaning, was also launched.
