Read by industry professionals in 148 countries worldwide!

Sadly, with everything else that’s going on in the world right now and much of our media focused on ‘celebrity’ rather than real issues, most people will be unaware that this week is World Water Week and that what comes out of this week’s global conference taking place in Stockholm could well be crucial to the very survival of mankind.

A sobering thought, eh?

The need to make every drop of water count is not a new concept – indeed this is the 23rd in the World Water Week series and you can read more about it below. And although most industries are striving to work with less water and more of us are trying to conserve it, we need to do more – and fast.

Many of those in the cleaning industry are developing systems that use up less water and I can see that momentum gathering pace as more and more decision-makers are becoming aware of the urgent need to look after our environment and stop using our water faster than it can be replenished by nature - and as a result are demanding more ecologically-friendly products. Those at the conference are sharing ideas on how we can all manage water more equitably and sustainably and I hope that the world’s press will do its duty by focusing more on what’s really important in life and start spreading the word…
