UKCPI: Stand F48

The UK Cleaning Products Industry Association (UKCPI) told us it is offering a membership 'special' at the Show. For the first time, prospective members will be offered their first six months of membership to the association for free, when they sign up at the show. Cleaning Show visitors can find out more and pick up a membership pack at the stand. Philip Malpass, director general of UKCPI, said: "As the lead trade association for our sector, UKCPI delivers robust industry representation to politicians and officials, offers guidance and advice to members, and provides the industry's authoritative voice on a range of issues to the public, opinion formers and the media."

UKCPI provides advice and guidance to manufacturers, distributors and users of cleaning and hygiene products. The association already represents over 60% of UK industrial and institutional product manufacturers and approximately 98% of UK consumer product manufacturers. It also works with regulators, policy makers, the public and the media on cleanliness, hygiene and sustainability issues.

Brandon Pilling, managing director of Acdoco and chairman of UKCPI, said: "Being a member of a trade association can only add value to a business. UKCPI pledges to keep its members abreast of current issues and regulations which will not only help in avoiding costly mistakes, but by interacting with policy makers will endeavour to protect the interests of both the company and the wider industry. But the best way to be involved is to become an active member because the output of any industry association is only as good as the input it receives - the more a member puts in, the more that member gets out."
