Seminar: The New EU Biocidal Products Regulation: Applicable in Six Months and Counting
A full day seminar is being held on 7th March 2013 in Brussels on the new EU biocidal products regulation (BPR). The seminar, 'The New EU Biocidal Products Regulation: Applicable in Six Months and Counting', will provide an opportunity for regulators and commercial actors at all stages of the supply and use chains to discuss issues of common interest and concern.
The seminar will provide an update on further measures required to make the BPR fully operational, as well as covering key topics including:
* Anticipated commercial impact throughout the biocides supply chain
* Navigating transitional issues
* ECHA's (the European Chemical Agency) new role, and the role of the Commission under the BPR
* Member state authorisation, comparative assessment, and mutual recognition

* Data protection, data sharing and compensation, confidentiality and access to documents
