3M's new matting really makes an entrance!
It's not what you pay for your entrance matting that determines its true cost, but how much it can save you in annual cleaning and maintenance costs over its lifetime.
That's the message behind the launch of 3M's new Nomad Aqua Series Textile Entrance Matting, the latest evolution in the company's innovative range of high performance entrance matting, developed and refined over 30 years.

"By stopping dirt and moisture at the door, Nomad Aqua Series reduces the need for costly cleaning labour and chemicals. Unlike traditional deep cut pile and coir matting, which can allow dirt and moisture to sit on the surface and be tracked into the building, Nomad Aqua's dual-fibre loop system simultaneously scrapes off soil and absorbs water from the soles of shoes, trapping it within the mat's open structure. In doing so, it maintains a clean, welcoming entrance, reduces the risk of slips, trips and potential claims, and protects floors from wear and tear.
High performance Nomad Aqua Series is more cost-effective over time than rental matting that can be of questionable age and efficiency. It is kinder on the environment too. Unlike rental matting it doesn't require regular washing with cleaning chemicals. And there is no need to transport it back and forth to central laundries, reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Ideal for use in offices, hotels, restaurants and retail outlets, Nomad Aqua Series comes in a choice of colours, sizes and grades to fit most decor, or any traffic level. Available as free standing, drop down mats, it can also be supplied in rolls to cut and custom-fit any entrance. Backed with flexible, slip-resistant, phthalate-free PVC, it can be very easily bonded and edged, maintaining a smart and safe low profile.
