ISSA industry association meeting sets tone for upcoming Amsterdam show

ISSA, the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, recently held the first-ever meeting of its European partners at the Amsterdam RAI.

The objective for the meeting was to allow members to discover more about cleaning industries in different countries directly from their international peers - learning first-hand from their experiences and finding solutions to the challenges they all face within their own markets.

Those who presented at the meeting included representatives of ISSA and also attendees from ISSA members and partner associations drawn from various nations throughout the EMEA region including -Matisz (Hungary), PIGC (Poland), Ou Puhastusekspert (Estonia), CAC (the Czech Republic), Amsterdam RAI (the Netherlands), Jangro (UK), and RCCA (Russia).

In addition, the meeting discussed the seminar programme to be held during the Amsterdam Exhibition (8th -11th May, 2012). This series of educational and highly topical seminars will address the many changes and developments emerging within the cleaning industry, as well as the importance of the industry in the 21st Century. There will also be a number of panel debates and roundtable sessions, providing the opportunity for discussions with like-minded peers on the most important and challenging issues facing the industry worldwide.

"The meeting was a huge success, with all attendees showing plenty of enthusiasm and a pleasing willingness to share industry expertise from a variety of different national markets and in discussing new approaches or answers to specific situations or issues across Europe," comments Keith Baker.

"As ISSA is a worldwide organisation, members can take advantage of its many global resources, including the expertise and knowledge of members from different markets.

"This association meeting also proved to be a great taster for what promises to be the best-ever seminar programme at the forthcoming ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam show."
