Keep replacing your phone case? The real waste problem isn't your old case, it's the plastic one you'll buy next!
There's a quiet contradiction at the centre of the eco-friendly phone case boom: brands are selling sustainability as a reason to buy more, when the actual fix is buying differently.
The problem isn't that people own phone cases; it's that the default replacement is another piece of plastic that will outlive everyone who ever touched it.
