Eco Green Turtle partners with #TeamSeas to fund removal of 500,000+lbs of ocean plastic by year-end

Eco Green Turtle has announced a new strategic partnership with the #TeamSeas initiative, pledging to fund the removal of more than 500,000 pounds of plastic from oceans and waterways by December 2025 through direct donations to The Ocean Cleanup and Ocean Conservancy.

Under the terms of the partnership, Eco Green Turtle will allocate 10% of every sale from its Ocean Rescue Collection—including bestselling biodegradable homeware and pet essentials—to #TeamSeas, ensuring each £1 spent translates to 1lb of verified plastic removal.

Since its founding in early 2025, Eco Green Turtle has grown rapidly, engaging over 170,000 ‘Eco Warriors’ across the UK in zero-waste living and raising awareness of marine pollution through plastic-free product lines.

“We’re thrilled to join global efforts led by MrBeast and Mark Rober’s #TeamSeas campaign,” says Noureddine Belhoumch, founder of Eco Green Turtle. “This partnership magnifies the impact of every eco-friendly swap our customers make, turning mindful shopping into measurable ocean cleanup.”

Eco Green Turtle and #TeamSeas will jointly report progress on plastic removal milestones each quarter, with the first update scheduled for 1st July, 2025.
