Last call for Pulire 2015 Innovation Award entrants: deadline for the project submission is 1st April

* sutter.jpgPulire, the thriving cleaning show and conference which takes place in Verona, is just a matter of weeks away, so if you're planning to enter the Innovation Awards you need to do it soon. The show itself kicks off on 18th May and the final deadline for project submission is 1st April.

This year the competition is based on a new concept with new rules. There are now five categories: machines, equipment, chemical products, paper & TnT and systems. There are now five steps: outlining the main idea, selection of project entries, publication of the six finalists' entries, final competition evaluation and the presentation ceremony.

The projects will be selected by a jury composed of international experts in the professional cleaning industry: Simon Chen, CEO of ICE, Peter Hug, managing director of EUnited, Doug Cook, chairman of the British Cleaning Council, Tibor Ritz, expert in professional training for the cleaning industry and Toni D'Andrea, managing director of Afidamp Servizi.

The jury will nominate the six best projects and will meet the companies involved on 18th May, the day before Pulire Verona's opening. They will select the winner and the Award will be made on 19th May, during 'Pulire Sturdust' - a party with a live concert dedicated to all the exhibitors at and visitors to Pulire 2015.

The competition is open to Pulire Verona exhibitors only. Entrants must send all the information, white papers, factsheets etc in English.

The organiser, AfidampFAB (the national trade association that represents the Italian manufacturers of machinery, equipment and chemical products for professional cleaning) says it is committed to awarding innovation in processes, products and services as well as to those solutions that bring about improvements and are beneficial to the development of entrepreneurship.

"Innovation is aimed at contributing to the wide spread of entrepreneurial attitude and ideas and at fostering innovative actions in order to let the cleaning sector thrive," it says.
