MITIE to care for Marie Curie
MITIE has been awarded a three year contract with Marie Curie Cancer Care to provide cleaning and laundry services to the charity’s West Midlands Hospice and cleaning, laundry and hostess service to Cardiff & The Vale Hospice.
Each year Marie Curie provides free nursing care to terminally ill people and emotional support for their families in their own homes or in the charity’s nine hospices. MITIE’ss Environmental + healthcare team will now be dedicated to supporting them in two of these hospices, by providing specialist cleaning, domestic and patient dining services.
“Marie Curie has a deserved reputation for supporting terminally ill people and their families,” notes Rob Cattell, managing director of MITIE’s Environmental + business. “Our healthcare team is determined to provide the best support possible to enable them to carry on their vital work.”
