Chewing gum: a lesson in easy removal

The Ecogum chewing gum removal machine, available from Clemas for purchase or hire, is worn as a self-contained backpack.

It removes chewing gum pieces in under six seconds through the use of gas and environmentally friendly chemicals and as there are no trailing hoses or trailing cables it is safe to use. It is also extremely quiet when in use.

After using the Ecogum chewing gum removal machine, the cleaning manager at the Shenley Brook End School was delighted at the instant results both within the classrooms and on the tarmac areas outside.

"Keeping on top of chewing gum removal within the school site had been problematic until we discovered the Ecogum," says the school's cleaning manager, Freddie Brittin.
