Adhesive cleaning issues resolved
Gard Chemicals - a specialist manufacturer of adhesive cleaners and release agents for both hot and cold glues to the food, drink, packaging and associated industries - has developed a technologically advanced range of industry approved chemicals. The range is now supplied to bottling halls, packaging and food manufacturers etc. in order that they can remove adhesive as well as prevent it from adhering to any surface in a safer more environmentally friendly method than before.
The established R&D team at Gard Chemicals looked at the old problems / chemical formulations associated with traditional cleaning applications and chemical formulations available - such as flammable cleaners, solvents, citrus based cleaners, paraffin wax granules etc. and sought to overcome them. As a result, its new products are all biodegradable, environmentally friendly and operator safe.
The initial range of formulations covers a variety of applications, such as external adhesive removers for in situ cleaning, release agents for preventing adhesives (hot and cold) from adhering to surfaces, and liquid hot melt purges for pre melt units and hoses - making clean-down time a lot easier and quicker. All of this range is manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
Gard Chemicals formulations will provide the end user with enhanced performance, increased safety levels and reduced environmental risks.
