OspreyFrank acquires remaining stake in FrankGmbH in Germany

Environmentally friendly cleaning systems specialist OspreyFrank has acquired the remaining stake in FrankGmbH in Germany.

"We have long been searching for a company with the right engineering and design skills and our long standing partnership with Frank GmbH of Germany - a high pressure washers and self-service car wash systems manufacturer - has created the synergies we were looking for," reveals Thomas Stuecken, Managing Director of OspreyDeepclean and Chief Commercial Officer of OspreyFrank (the parent company). "...so much so that the parent company has rebranded itself as OspreyFrank following the acquisition of Frank GmbH in September 2013.

"Our thoughts were simple: If Frank GmbH can build coin operated car wash systems which last for some 30 years and still counting, then we must be able to bring this engineering excellence into the steam market sector, as this is what has been the restrainer to successful implementation, of 24/7 sanitation in the industrial manufacturing environment.

"OspreyFrank's in-house design and engineering team is involved in many OEM projects and machine designs for OEM customers, ranging from robotic in-line degreasing projects for the leading USA motorbike manufacturer, to large scale, fully automated and audible assembly line sanitation systems for one of the world's largest ice cream manufacturers. The largest steam sanitation project to date cleans to allergen level and saves six million litres of water per annum.

"This is what excites us about bringing new technologies to the market, that address the various issues encountered by our customers yet offer the added environmental benefits of reduction in chemical use and enormous water savings."
