Food industry brush ensures that no bristles get into the food!

* magnetic-fibres.jpgOne stand that caught our eye was that of Ariston Cleaning Solutions - simply because of the fantastic colour coding options offered by the range of brushes, shovels and other 'light'cleaning equipment on display. But was it all just about the colour coding? Certainly not, as John and I soon discovered!

One of the products that impressed us was the brush head, pictured here in the hands of Gianluca Bignotti, which is designed for use in food industry applications. In case you cannot see properly from the image, Gianluca is holding a small magnet that is pulling the bristles - which contain a magnetic component - towards it.

The idea behind this is that the food industry uses magnets to check that nothing metallic has found its way into the food being processed. As the bristles of this brush are magnetic, they would be attracted to the magnet and would therefore not find their way into the food chain.

"All raw materials used in our products are certified for food, or generally speaking, hygienic use; therefore each product has a profile available with details and specific information," explained Gianluca. "Further, each product is designed for professional use, ergonomically manufactured, long lasting and capable of withstanding heavy-duty use."
