ABCD Seminar 'Trading and Charging'
The Association of Building Cleaning Direct Service Providers has organised a seminar which explores the best ways for local authority cleaning service providers to maximise the income they receive from the services they provide.
It will be presented by renowned speaker on this subject - Andy Mudd, Principal Consultant - Association for Public Service Excellence. "Most service providers in the UK, where services are provided to the public sector are feeling the squeeze," says Patricia Wherton ABCD General Secretary.
"The current economic climate, along with the challenge of plans to cut back on certain areas of service, is making us think about becoming more commercial to save public services. There are also continuing challenges in specific areas where services such as educational contracts are being opened up to the general marketplace, creating growing demand and competition. This seminar will help delegates meet those challenges."
Of particular interest to local authority managers of services who have, or plan to have, a commercial remit, this seminar will enable delegates to consider the financial, legal and commercial implications for service delivery, the customer focus, and the attendant risks - all in one day.
