With UK energy regulator Ofgem reporting at the end of 2012 in its first annual Electricity Capacity Assessment that Britain risks running out of its energy capacity margin in the Winter of 2015-16, the need for strategic energy efficiency plan has never been more apparent for businesses. The Facilities Show 2013 will this year, within its dedicated free-to-attend educational Energy Management Theatre, address the most pressing issues around driving down energy costs, efficiency strategies and engaging the workforce.
The Facilities Show 2013 will take place at Birmingham's NEC from 14th - 16th May, providing a unique event for the industry with all aspects of FM covered, including FM solutions, business continuity, leadership and strategy, operations, environmental sustainability, finance, technology and best practice.
A highlight of the show will be the Energy Management Theatre, whichwill provide a full programme across the three days dedicated to helping FM professionals meet their energy needs. A range of case studies, lively debates and presentations will cover everything from achieving buy-in, to energy savings, to demystifying the role of behaviour change in energy management, to key drivers of energy efficiency and the plan to make it happen.
