Clean up at The Golden Service Awards 2013!
Kimberly-Clark Professional is delighted to announce the launch of the Golden Service Awards 2013. Designed to recognise service excellence in the cleaning & support services industry, the awards provide a benchmark for quality and are the ideal opportunity for contract cleaning companies and in-house cleaning teams to promote the excellent work carried out by their cleaning teams and give them the recognition they deserve.
The Golden Service Awards 2013, in partnership with the Cleaning & Support Services Association, will officially commence on Friday 1st February 2013 and entrants will then have until midday on Friday 26th April 2013 to send in their applications.
"The Golden Service Awards 2011 was by far the biggest and best programme to date," says Rob Lowe, Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, Kimberly-Clark Professional. "Although the awards don't officially begin again until February 2013, there has been no question of taking a year off. Throughout 2012 the Golden Service Awards Committee members have been hard at work revising categories, developing criteria and finessing the entire programme to ensure its continued success.
In addition, at the core of everything we do at Kimberly-Clark Professional is our Exceptional Workplaces mission - a radical new approach designed to partner with businesses to create Exceptional Workplaces for their employees and patrons to provide healthier, safer and more productive workplaces. We believe that the Golden Service Awards programme is a fundamental part of this mission and gives recognition to Exceptional Workplaces across all categories."
Entry forms for the Golden Service Awards 2013 are available to download online at www.goldenserviceawards.co.uk. Applicants who wish to get a head start on entry requirements can review the form online from November 2012 although the Awards will only be open for entry from February 2013.
The Golden Service Awards are open to all segments of the cleaning & support services industry in the UK and Ireland. Any small, medium or large contract cleaning company or in-house cleaning team can enter and it is important to note that the awards are not judged on the size of the business, but on the quality of the service provided.
Whilst Kimberly-Clark Professional started this initiative and has always been a patron, it believes that it should not judge and therefore engages an outside organisation to appoint independent professionals. Additionally, companies do not have to be a customer of Kimberly-Clark Professional or registered with any trade associations to enter the Awards.
The Golden Service Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 1st November 2013 at the Lancaster London Hotel. More than 600 members of the industry and press are expected to attend.
