Americo launches a new corporate identity
Americo Manufacturing Company, the Georgia, US-based manufacturer of sustainable floor pads, floor mats and cleaning accessories that are sold in over 70 countries worldwide, has unveiled a new logo.
The original logo was used since Americo's founding in 1969. "While our former Americo logo was well known and recognised throughout the worldwide cleaning products industry, we felt it was important to update our corporate identity with a more modern look that reflects the significant growth and progress we've made over the past years," explains Richard Rones, President of Americo.
"The company has made significant investments in new equipment, technology, and training over the past several years, all of which have helped the company achieve unprecedented growth during some very tough economic times".
Although resembling the original identity, the new logo reflects how Americo cherishes its heritage but is now looking forward to the next half century of expansion.
"We kept the colours of the new logo the same since it continues to show our pride in being an American company, adds Richard. "You can also view the design of the symbol in our logo, which incorporates images of several products that we produce. We were able to recreate a logo that really represents our business...we are extremely excited with the change!"
100% of the polyester fiber used in pads produced by Americo comes from recycled material from post industrial and post consumer waste and the binders are based on water-based technology.
