The Cleaning Show 2013 promises a feature-packed programme

The organiser of The Cleaning Show 2013, being staged at Birmingham's NEC from 19th - 21st March 2013, has announced a full programme of attractions to ensure that next year's exhibition lives up to its billing as 'the UK cleaning industry's unmissable event'. And with stand sales buoyant, as well as a co-location with the very popular IMHX 2013 event, the Cleaning Show 2013 is set to be a good one.

"Even at this early stage, the Cleaning Show 2013 is on course to be bigger and better than ever before, and is expected to attract a record-breaking number of visitors and exhibitors," promises Martin Scott, exhibition sales director. "Over 60% of all available stand space has already been sold - the strongest show of support ever with over 10 months still to go.

"The International Materials Handling Exhibition will be running alongside the show, ensuring a massive increase in visitor numbers from the warehouse sector. Exhibitors have one opportunity every two years to get their products in front of a massive buying audience - and they are certainly grasping this opportunity with both hands."

The Cleaning Show is organised every two years on behalf of the cleaning industry by BCCE, a company jointly owned by the British Cleaning Council and Quartz Business Media, publisher of C&M. Over 200 exhibitors will be present at the 2013 show, with more than 50 exhibiting for the first time. In addition to the show itself, The Cleaning Show 2013 will feature several other brand new attractions:

Innovation Zone and Awards

The Cleaning Show Innovation Awards have continued to grow in stature and, for the first time, finalists will be featured in a new Innovation Zone. Neil Nixon, chair of the judging panel, says: "The new Innovation Zone will give all finalists maximum exposure, and will enable visitors to the show to see all the key innovations in one place. The judging panel - which comprises recognised experts from all sectors of the cleaning industry - will be expanded to manage the anticipated increase in applications."

Green Equipment and Services Pavilion

Visitors to the Cleaning Show are increasingly looking for environmentally friendly products. The Green Equipment and Services Pavilion will comprise a number of products and services from different companies, all developed to promote environmentally sensitive cleaning practices. Each exhibit will also be featured in an adjacent, free-to-enter, seminar programme.

Laundry Zone

A brand new Laundry Zone will feature laundry and dishwashing products and services, and will also incorporate a free-to-enter seminar programme.

Workwear and Corporate Clothing Pavilion and Catwalk

A brand new Workwear and Corporate Clothing Pavilion will be accompanied by a catwalk, staging 'fashion shows' throughout the three day event.

The best of the rest

A new Business Zone - featuring recruitment, IT, insurance, finance and marketing companies - will be featured for the first time, as will a VIP Visitor Programme (further details to follow).

It is clear to see that a huge amount of thought and effort has gone in to making the Cleaning Show 2013 the biggest and best ever, with a number of compelling new features to attract both exhibitors and visitors.

Make sure you don't miss out!
