Themes of the WFBSC 2012 presentations chosen

A number of the themes for presentations during the 5-day, 19th World Federation of Building Service Contractor (WFBSC) International Congress, to be held in Curitiba on October 10th to 14th, have already been chosen.

The meeting is one of the top conferences in the cleaning & hygiene industry and will assemble about 1,000 delegates, who may also take part in the 22nd Regional Higiexpo - Hygiene, Cleaning & Maintenance Products & Services Exhibition, and the 23rd ENEAC - National Meeting of the Cleaning & Maintenance Companies. The three meetings will take place simultaneous, assembling a total of about 5,000 delegates.

The presentations will focus on key issues to contractors, such as: management, administration, sustainability and laws, to be approached in the following plenary sessions:

- Family succession in multi-generational family businesses; why take part in trade exhibitions?
- The experience of the specialised service outsourcing chamber within the scope of the Ministry of Work & Employment
- Risk management by effective infection control and food safety
- Green and sustainable: how cleaning contractors can meet the demands of a changing world
- Multi-services: challenges and opportunities in the Brazilian market
- The 21st century socio-environmental paradigm and labour laws
- Smart application in cleaning: how a sustainable approach will increase productivity for BSC
- The client's vision of cleaning services and the challenges of service contractors
- The rights of contractors under government contracts
- Cleaning as an absolute value

In the words of the WFBSC President, Adonai Aires de Arruda, this is a unique opportunity for Brazilian entrepreneurs. "Being in Curitiba in October means being in contact with the latest in our industry worldwide. In addition to the plenary sessions focusing on momentous themes and fostering networking with people from the world over, regional meetings will also be very productive, since we will have important attendees coming to Brazil to know our market."

Registration is already open and can be completed through the website www.wfbsc2012.com where you can find more information about the event and Curitiba (tourism, special tours, hotels, restaurants, etc). The WFBSC 2012 is going to be held alongside the 22nd Regional Higiexpo (Fair of Products & Services for Hygiene, Cleaning & Conservation) and the 23rd ENEAC (National Meeting of Cleanliness & Conservation Companies).
