New In Depth Divisional Director eyes far-reaching change

Bill_Dunne.jpgBill Dunne has been appointed Divisional Director of In Depth Managed Services - a newly created role for the Warrington-based firm.

Bill previously worked for MITIE Security in Scotland, where his successful business style helped it grow to a £350 million company, bringing in fresh ideas and managing 58 shopping centres. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 14 year career in the British Army, culminating in him being awarded a Military Medal in the 1983 News Years Honours list.

As Divisional Director, Bill takes charge of In Depth's entire UK services portfolio, which covers a range of cleaning solutions and soft services. He has an ambitious vision for expanding the company, including modernising the communications systems to incorporate cutting edge technology such as smart phones and tablet computers. New service lines are likely to include security management, horticulture and mechanical and electrical engineering, and he is also keen to enter new sectors such as finance, retail and government departments, such as the Ministry of Defence.

Bill's appointment follows the retirement of Gwyneth Manning as Regional Manager after 12 years with In Depth and more than 30 years in the cleaning industry. Gwyneth was popular among both staff and clients. During her long and successful career she witnessed changes that had a big impact on the industry including the introduction of the minimum wage and rights for part-time workers.
