Nettuno announces loss of Giancarlo Fratus, CEO
In a statement issued from Castelli Calepio on Wednesday, Francesca Fratus said:
"It is with deep sorrow that Nettuno announces the passing of Giancarlo Fratus, sales director and CEO of the company.
"His human and professional skills have made this company a solid and appreciated reality. For all of us it has been an honour to work with him.
"The company will be closed on Friday 25th May for the funeral that will take place at 2.30 pm, at the Church of San Pietro Apostolo Tagliuno in Castelli Calepio (Bergamo)."
Ed: John Austen and I always took pleasure in chatting with Giancarlo when we visited exhibitions in which Nettuno was taking part. Giancarlo never failed to offer a warm welcome and his ready smile and sense of humour always made our day that much more enjoyable. We offer our condolences to his colleagues, family and friends.
