Gemini Commercial Cleaning increases market share with latest acquisition

In a bid to expand its market share, Gemini Commercial Cleaning - said to be Blackburn's largest commercial cleaning company - has taken its next leap in growth with the addition of rival company Lancashire Cleaning Services. Gemini describes the its acquisition as an 'integral part' of its business growth strategy.

"It's a very exciting time at Gemini and we're all absolutely delighted to be taking on a new challenge in the form of Lancashire Cleaning Services," says Imran Khan, director. "The experience and reputation behind the company align closely with our own operations and so we expect that the acquisition will be seamless.

"We currently operate with the highest standards and expect that the move will only enhance our current services."

The premium cleaning specialists already possess a wide range of successful commercial and industrial cleaning contracts as part of long-standing client relationships with local businesses in the form of schools, hospitals, healthcare and government bodies.

Gemini Commercial Cleaning currently employs more than 240 local people from its Blackburn base. Following the acquisition, Imran Khan predicts that the workforce is set to grow even further: "This exciting period of growth for Gemini is not only great for ourselves but also for the local economy. As we continue to grow we'll be expanding our workforce even further and creating new jobs for more local people in and around Blackburn."
