Higiexpo 2017 "shaping up nicely"
The Brazilian Association for the Institutional Cleaning Market (Abralimp), tells us that the 25th Higiexpo (Fair of Products & Services for Hygiene, Cleaning & Environmental Preservation) and also the 26th Higicon (International Congress of the Professional Cleaning Market) are taking shape nicely.
The events will take place from August 8th to 10th, in the Yellow Pavilion of Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil.
Some 12,000 attendees are expected at the combined event, which occupies about 3,000sq.m. Higiexpo has the participation of approximately 70 exhibitors, divided into chemical products manufacturers (sanitising, detergent, wax and others), machines and equipment (auto washers, vacuum cleaners), accessories (mops, dispensers, dosing equipment and others) sanitary papers and uniforms; thus providing a real showcase of products for professional cleaning. Additionally, distributors and cleaning service companies will be exhibiting.
The events are focused mainly at professionals from cleaning service enterprises, distributors and end users from such sectors as industrial, hotel management, education, financial institutions, malls, medical institutions and many other areas that require hygiene and cleaning services.
"Apart from the realisation of business and expansion of the networking to the exhibitors, Higiexpo will show visitors that the production chain is in a moment of excellence in terms of quality and diversification of products," says the organizer.
The sector is the second largest employer in the country, behind only the construction sector, generating 1.5 million direct jobs. Interestingly, ABRALIMP notes that this employment leads to social enclosure, since the enterprises hire and train this labour force and makes them leaders and managers.
