Vax to close its commercial floorcare division

Vax has announced the closure of its commercial floorcare division, Vax Commercial, by the end of 2016. This means that all existing trading relationships will cease on 31st December 2016. The current sales team will remain in place to support this transitional period until 5th December 2016 and at this point no further orders will be accepted or processed.

Vax will, of course, continue to support its customers by honouring all aftersales service and warranty liabilities.

For any product or aftersales support queries, Vax equipment users should continue to contact the Vax Customer Careline 0330 0264 275. The company says that payment for accounts due after 31st December 2016 should still be made to any current payment terms agreement, until the account is cleared in full. Any queries regarding invoices raised on your account, should be directed to the finance team by email, telephone or by post to the address noted on the invoice.

From January 2017, a limited range of Vax Commercial floorcare machines, including the VCT-01, VCT- 02 vacuum cleaners and VCW-06 carpet cleaner, along with all spares and accessories, will continue to be available.

Martin Farmer, Vax Commercial?'s national sales manager, tells us that he and his team are in the process of contacting customers to ensure that all aspects of the trading relationship are concluded and handed over. They will also discuss any opportunities they have, regarding the liquidation of excess commercial machine stocks.
