Please clean Nairobi to boost hygiene

* Nairobi.jpgNairobi is a magnificent city which every Kenyan anticipates to tour, but the pungent smell from burst sewers, stagnant water and uncollected garbage is turning the once green city in the sun into one huge garbage site." writes Enock Mukila in 'citizen journalism' publication The Standard Digital News.

"Hygiene remains pristine in our esteemed lives and I'm astonished because Nairobi city county is not giving it a priority. If you make your way to Muthurwa market and areas far away from the city, you will get vivid images of what I'm talking about.

"There is no need of cleaning the city centre streets, which are residences for a few, and leaving the majority battling for their hygiene. County officials should wake up from their deep slumber and work relentlessly towards cleaning Nairobi.
