Julius Rutherfoord lends a helping hand to homeless at Christmas

London specialist in quality cleaning, Julius Rutherfoord, is supporting the charity Crisis at Christmas by providing free cleaning for several of its London centres helping the homeless over Christmas.

Voluntary support is also being provided for Crisis at Christmas by Julius Rutherfoord's recycling partner, First Mile. The London commercial recycling firm is providing free collections of recycling and waste from London shelters.

Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people and is dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. Crisis at Christmas 2015 runs from 23rd to 30th December. Over 10,000 volunteers will help more than 4,000 homeless guests across the UK. As well as warmth, companionship and hot meals, guests in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Coventry and Edinburgh will receive healthcare and specialist advice on a range of services including housing, work and benefits.

"You cannot underestimate the importance of the support Crisis provides to improve the lives of those in need," says Marcus Heap, sales & marketing director at Julius Rutherfoord. "We believe that everyone deserves a clean and healthy environment over Christmas and are delighted to be able to provide our specialist support."

Bruce Bratley, CEO at First Mile says: "We're thrilled to be helping Crisis at Christmas for the third year running. Their action makes a huge difference to the homeless, and by working in partnership with First Mile they'll keep 15 tonnes of waste out of landfill, recycle over half of that and keep their work as green as possible."
