Steam clean the streets with Matrix
Chewing gum is a huge problem - not just for local authorities, but for commercial property owners, transport companies and property management companies who are responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, streets or commercial transport.
Matrix has invested significant development time over the last 10 years to come up with economical and efficient solutions to the problem of removing chewing gum which has resulted in a high quality range of specialist cleaning equipment developed with chewing gum removal in mind.
"The steam cleaning process for removing chewing gum has never been easier," says the company's sales director Mike Osiadacz.
"By simply applying an environmentally friendly cleaning agent through the machine, the chewing gum removal is achieved effectively - leaving a slightly damp surface with absolutely no mess.
"This is done by preheating the ingrained gum with steam and then applying a special detergent which is then agitated with a brush that is attached to a steam nozzle on our machine, this process in turn breaks down and eliminates the gum off the affected area."
The Matrix GTS is a completely self-contained chewing gum removal system available in either 110 volt or 240 volt incorporating an 8 bar pressure steam boiler with an integral chemical delivery system.
The unit comes as a complete unit comprising of a dual voltage generator, steam machine, trolley & storage. The trolley is made from durable powder coated steel construction.
The system features a continuous fill boiler allowing refill at any time during operation, is supplied with a complete set of tools and accessories and is ideally suited for external large areas of chewing gum removal.
