UK show debut for Citymaster 1600

* Hako-Citymaster.jpgThe latest addition to Hako's impressive line-up of sweepers is to make its UK debut at the country's top event for recycling and waste management professionals. Visitors to the Hako stand at RWM (September 15th -17th at Birmingham's NEC) will be able to get a close up look at the first Citymaster 1600 Citycleaner to arrive in the country and discover why it's already creating something of a stir in the municipal arena.

"Ahead of its official launch we've already had a lot of interest in the new model from a number of local authorities keen to make the most of its flexibility and performance," reveals the company's Sylvie Giangolini.

"With articulated steering, multifunctional steering and a host of other operator-friendly features, the Citymaster 1600 is just at home on city streets as it is on paths, car parks and green areas. Its low operating noise also makes it ideal for sensitive areas such as quiet, residential streets and at 3.5t it can be operated by holders of a class B driving licence".

Thanks to its reliability, ease of maintenance and excellent fuel economy, the new model is likely to be as popular with fleet managers as it is with operators who benefit from a range of features designed to improve comfort and ease of use. These features include a full suspension chassis, spacious cabin, excellent visibility and an innovative, integrated control panel.

Whilst the Citymaster 1600 will be the centre of attention on stand 5T80-V81, the exhibition will also provide Hako with the opportunity to showcase a number of other models in its impressive product portfolio, such as the award-winning 600 and 1250 Citymaster models, which have already earned a loyal following amongst operators for their reliability, flexibility and manoeuvrability.

"We're really looking forward to the exhibition and having the opportunity to meet with existing and potential customers," adds Sylvie. "Visitors are welcome to take a closer look at the models on show, and can speak to our team of experts about organising a demonstration at their own premises".

Operating in more than 60 countries, Hako offers a wide range of innovative cleaning solutions as well as exemplary customer service. Part of the Possehl Group, it employs around 2,000 people.

In the UK, Hako Machines is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and service provider of superior technology for indoor cleaning, outdoor cleaning and grounds maintenance. From its centrally located headquarters in Northamptonshire, which has its own workshop facilities and Parts Warehouse, the company provides a total cleaning solution to customers in the commercial, industrial and municipal sectors. As well as its extensive product offering, Hako delivers a comprehensive Customer Support function and a national network of trained engineers who provide outstanding service support.
